Jewels had literally just come back from a mission in Saudi Arabia when the virus plagued the United States. She had flown into the airport and just made it to her apartment safely when walkers started knocking at her door. She thought fast and grabbed all the essentials: her two handguns and ammo, matches, Chinese stars, knives, cell, badge, an extra shirt, and a family photo. She shoved everything into her cross-body purse and one loaded gun in her belt. Jewels unlocked her window and pulled it open then started to scale the building towards the parking lot. Once she was close enough she sprinted to her car and took off. She traveled to the nearest police station only to find pandemonium blocking the entrance. So, she did the only thing she could do and called the CIA headquarters where she worked. They explained things to her as best they could and advised her to get out of the country. She's been trying to escape the walkers and flee Georgia but it's no use when they're at every corner. Jewels knew she was on her own from then on out until she found more humans. She hid in the woods for the longest time, living off the land and spending most of her time in the trees so that the walkers wouldn't take her while she slept. She had lost her car due to an overrun of walkers and had just barely made it out of there without getting bitten. One day she heard cars driving by the area she was hiding out in the woods. But, just as she showed herself and started running towards the cars, she lost them. She ran and ran until nightfall and took cover in the forest once again. When morning came she was on the move again and after being taken aback by the explosion in the distance she decided to keep heading towards it in hope of survivors. Finally, she made it and was relieved find a group of survivors.
