Ok I haven't read it yet. I want to but I hear the TV show strayed a bit from the comic already, and some of my friends spoiled some of the plot for me. The only reason I don't want to read it is because I love the TV series, and I don't want to ruin the future plot for myself. Have you guys read it? Maybe you can advise me on how to avoid spoilers.

Well My friend i was talking to MSN said they it is preaty much the same, expect for the CDC guy, and the 2 Dixen Brothers, thats all i know. I am going to start the comics sometime after Christmas.

I am just going to stick with the series and if you want to avoid just don't go to any wiki sites, I did to find a picture and ended up reading than spoiling for myself.

I have to say even if you have never read another comic in your life you should read this one. The show actually sticks EXTREMELY close to the comic. A few things differ of course, which is the case with any series being brought to the screen, but both are worth the time of day and observation.

I want to read it. But how far do I need to get before it goes past episode 6? I'll stop there and wait for next season. Thats the plan.

The season finale was completely fabricated by the tv show. I'd say the show follows the story number fairly well so just go by that most times.
